Shipik

Terms of Use

The rules for using Shipik, and what we are and are not responsible for.

Last updated 2026-09-06 · Operated by EagLeoX LLC · support@shipik.app

What Shipik is

Shipik introduces people who want to send a package to travellers with spare capacity on a route they are already taking. Shipik is the introduction and the record of it. We are not a carrier, a freight forwarder, a courier or a customs broker, and we do not transport anything ourselves.

The agreement is between members

When you and a provider agree a shipment, that agreement is between the two of you. You are each responsible for what you commit to: the provider for carrying the package as described, the sender for what is inside it. Shipik is not a party to it.

Payment

Shipik does not process payments and takes no commission. Prices shown in the app are what a provider has published, and payment is arranged directly between you and the provider, outside Shipik. We cannot refund, reverse or guarantee any payment, and we strongly recommend agreeing terms in the app’s messaging before money changes hands.

What you may not send

You may not send weapons, explosives, illegal drugs, controlled substances, hazardous materials, stolen goods, counterfeit goods, live animals, human remains, or anything whose transport is restricted or prohibited in the origin country, the destination country, or by the carrier being used.

You must describe the contents of your package honestly. A provider may open, refuse or hand over any package they have reason to believe breaches this.

Customs and the law

You are responsible for making sure your package may lawfully be sent and received, and for any duties, taxes or declarations that apply. Both sender and provider are responsible for compliance with the law in every country a package passes through.

How you must behave

Be honest about who you are and what you are sending. Do not harass, threaten, defraud or impersonate anyone. Do not create an account to evade a block or a suspension. Do not use Shipik for anything unlawful.

You can report any member or conversation from the menu in the top corner of their profile or your chat, and you can block a member at any time. We review reports and may warn, suspend or remove accounts.

Your account

You must be 18 or over. Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your account. You can close your account at any time from the Profile tab.

Becoming a provider

Publishing services requires a separate application and approval, including identity verification. We may decline or withdraw provider status at our discretion, including where a member is the subject of unresolved reports.

What we do not promise

Shipik does not guarantee that a package will be collected, carried, delivered on time, or delivered at all, and does not guarantee the accuracy of anything a member publishes about themselves or their route. Verification and trust signals are indicators, not warranties. Use your judgement, and meet in a safe place.

Changes

We may update these terms. If we change them materially we will ask you to accept the new version in the app. Continuing to use Shipik after that means you accept it.
